BOOKING POLICIES & procedures

Deposit & Payments

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

• The remaining balance is due 72 hours prior to your service date.

.• For bookings made less than one week out, full payment is due at the time of booking. 

Rush Fee

• A $100 convenience fee applies to any bookings made less than 48 hours before your setup date. 

Parking

• If your hotel does not offer free parking, valet charges will be added to your room upon arrival.

• If I have to pay for parking out of pocket, the client will be responsible for reimbursing the total parking cost (a receipt will be provided). 

Setup Time

• A minimum of 1-2 hours is required for setup depending on the chosen package.

• Larger packages may require additional time.

• Please refer to your selected package for the estimated setup duration.

• Late room access may affect setup completion and overall presentation. 

Room Access & Safety

• For safety and to maintain the surprise, no one should be present in the room during setup.

• Please notify the front desk that someone will be dropping off “a gift” and provide them with the company name: Tides and Tassels or my full name(given once booking is established).

• Upon arrival, I will present my ID or business card and need to be issued a room key by the front desk.

• If your booking is at an Airbnb, you must provide an entry code or access instructions at least 2 hours before your scheduled setup time to avoid delays.

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR ROOM/ DECORATED SPACE IS CLEAN. This is very important for the aesthetic of the job. Please no unmade beds, no suitcases or clothing visible, and if possible please keep countertops clean.
